- Easy anchoring for heavy loads
MASONRY UNITS CONSIST OF
TWO SOLID
CONCRETE BLOCKS
60 mm thick with a 120 mm thick expanded polystyrene core. They have a standard width of 240 mm.
1. DRAINAGE
Any water that seeps in is blocked by the watertight core and flows into channels, directing it to the outside of the wall.
2. AERATION
Perfect air circulation between the waterproof core and the outer concrete keeps the wall dry, preventing mildew formation.
THE COMPOSITION
IN DETAIL
1. CORE
Type 2 expanded polystyrene is molded in a projecting and recessed configuration to create a continuous insulating layer within the wall. Additionally, the polystyrene absorbs vibrations, making the Isobloc system highly soundproof.
2. EXTERIOR
An architectural masonry product, available in eight standard or custom colors and three finishes (smooth, blasted, and sandblasted) to meet your aesthetic preferences.
3. INTERIOR
Concrete provides high thermal mass, enabling passive heating that helps reduce your heating costs.

Isobloc is a high-performance building material widely used in prefabricated and modular construction, valued for its outstanding insulation properties. Its high density and polyurethane foam composition provide superior thermal insulation compared to traditional materials. Isobloc minimizes heat loss through walls and roofs, resulting in reduced heating and cooling demands, lower conductive heat loss, and decreased energy consumption for ventilation. This translates into substantial energy savings, making it an ideal choice for energy-efficient buildings.
In short, thermal mass and Isobloc provide effective solutions for reducing energy consumption in buildings. Thermal mass regulates indoor temperatures by gradually absorbing and releasing heat, which reduces the need for air conditioning and heating. Isobloc, as an insulating building material, minimizes heat loss through walls and roofs, leading to lower heating and cooling demands, reduced conductive heat loss, and decreased energy use for ventilation. Together, these approaches offer substantial benefits for energy savings and contribute to the design of more energy-efficient buildings.
